Kevin Johns is one of Wales’ most popular entertainment personalities.

 Earlier this year Kev was back at the Grand Theatre in Swansea playing Widow Twanky in Aladdin after his 9th  Panto season at the Swansea Grand Theatre and his 6th as Panto Dame.

 Kev will be back at the Grand in December and January as Sarah the Cook in  Dick Whittington

Previously he has appeared in Robin Hood, Aladdin, Snow White, Peter Pan, Goldilocks, Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk.

Kev has also starred in Aladdin, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk at the Grand Pavillion Porthcawl and Dick Whittington and Snow White at the Princess Royal Theatre Port Talbot.

Kev has recently appeared as Will Hay in the Wales Theatre Company’s national tour of the musical Amazing Grace, directed by Michael Bogdanov and starred as ‘Vicar Joe’ in the highly acclaimed Fluellen Theatre’ production of the new comedy ‘Toshack or Me’.

At Christmas Kev was honoured to stand in as a last minute replacement for Lord Attenborough as host of the Hayley Westenra Christmas Show.

Kev has appeared with musical tribute show, ‘The Westenders’ and surprised everyone by playing Micho in the Ballet Russe production of La Fille Mal Gardee at the Grand Theatre.

He continues to present the Breakfast Show on Swansea Sound whilst on stage he is Wales’ most sought after comperes and is very much in demand as a conference and after dinner speaker

Kev also regularly appears with the National Chamber Orchestra of Wales and continues to tour with his one man Gospel Comedy show,
Comic Belief’.

He has also accepted the challenge of learning Waltz, Jive and Rumba for version of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ at the Gorseinon Arts Festival winning 1st place with his daughter Bethan!

Recently Kev has been starring in a series of successful Cabaret shows with singer Lyn Mckay and continues to entertain Swansea City Centre Fans during half time at the Liberty Stadium and has also become a familiar sight on the pitch at Wales’ football matches entertaining fans at the Millennium Stadium and at Wembley Finals.

On television Kev has appeared as Geraint Flower on the BBC Wales show High Hopes and on Songs of Praise and the HTV Wales show ‘The Market’. Whilst last year he was heard narrating the 4 part BBC 2W series, ‘The Demolition Men’

Kev has also surprised everyone with his recent fitness campaign, losing over 4 stone in weight and has just completed his first 10k run and the 29 miles South Wales Bike Ride.

On Radio Kev also presents the popular Sunday Hotline for Swansea Sound and Christian Music Show, ‘Heart and Soul’ for Valleys Radio and
Swansea Sound.

Kev lives in Gorseinon with his wife Rosie, son Owain a Journalism student and Bethan who is on the Performing Arts Musical Theatre course at Gorseinon College.

Completing the Johns’ household are Dylan the Lab, rescued greyhound Kess and cat Monica
